The Lithionics batteries in this bundle must be shipped truck freight because of their weight. We offer two shipping options below. The least expensive option is to have your order shipped to a FedEx Freight terminal near you. You can use this link to locate the nearest terminal. Alternatively, we can ship the batteries to your residential address which is considerably more expensive. Many customers prefer shipping to a terminal because it's lower cost but you can also pick up your order at your convenience during their business hours. Freight deliveries to a commercial or residential address require you to be present for the delivery and often the "windows" of time provided by the freight company can me many hours long.

The Nations secondary alternator in this bundle ships with the correct mounting and other hardware/parts for your specific vehicle. Be sure to choose carefully! NOTE: if your Sprinter van came with the factory N62 alternator bracket, this is kit is NOT compatible. There is an a Nations product for the N62 bracket but it's not recommended by ourselves or by Nations Alternator. The vehicles included in this list are our "standard" kits. We can customize a kit to your specific needs if you vehicle isn't listed here. Note: the 2022 Promaster has changed enough that a new version of the kit is required. This kit is still being developed and Nations expects it to be available in early to mid June 2022. Please contact us with any questions!

Important Installation/Use Notes

When installing these batteries into your electrical system, Lithionics recommends 4' (or longer) size 2/0 cabling from the battery terminals to your disconnect switch. Then you may use 4/0 cabling from the disconnect switch to your bus bars, fuse, and inverter per our wiring diagram examples.

We then recommend using the manual disconnect switch as follows:

When going from "use mode" to "storage mode" first turn off the batteries from the system using your disconnect switch and then turn off the batteries themselves with the power switch on the batteries.

When going from "storage mode" to "use mode" you should first ensure that your battery disconnect switch is off, then you can turn on the batteries with the power switch on the batteries. Once you observe a solid LED light on the battery switch you can then turn on the battery disconnect switch.

This setup and procedure will protect the battery from damage by the inverter.

If you are using Lithionics batteries with a Victron MultiPlus 12/3000/120 or a or a MultiPlus II, you should be aware these units draw the most current during "pre-charge", and require special consideration. You should ensure that you're using the latest firmware on the batteries (2.07 or higher). In addition, as of January 2022, Lithionics has updated their battery hardware to add an "internal pre-charge circuit".

Please see our terms & conditions regarding electrical and power system products. Many of our customers are DIY van builders but, if you're not familiar with power systems, you might consider hiring a ABYC or Victron Energy certified professional to assist with this part of your build. The team at Vanlife Outfitters is happy to answer any product questions but we do not assist in system design or configuration or troubleshooting for free. However, we do offer a wide range of example power systems and other informational content. If you need help understanding power systems, designing your particular power system or troubleshooting issues, we offer consulting services for camper van electrical systems.

Unlike most retailers (we're looking at you, Amazon), Vanlife Outfitters is committed helping our customers in any way we can and we have free information on our site including detailed example power systems. We would love to sit on the phone with each and every one of our customers while they figure out how to install their system or if they wired something incorrectly but we would need to hire a team of electricians to do that and, frankly, we would rather keep our prices low and offer paid consulting instead.
