Flat-Jack 2.0 – Inflatable Tire Leveling System
An air-filled leveling cushion that lifts your van tire up to 7 inches for precise campsite leveling.
The Flat-Jack is a heavy-duty inflatable air jack that sits under your tire and raises it when inflated. Instead of stacking plastic leveling blocks, you simply drive onto the Flat-Jack and pump it up to the exact height you need.
It’s compact when deflated, incredibly strong when inflated, and designed specifically for RVs and camper vans.
Why They Are Better Than Leveling Blocks
Leveling blocks are bulky, awkward to stack, and often crack under the weight of heavier rigs. They also force you to “guess” your height and reposition multiple times.
The Flat-Jack solves all of that.
-
Fine-tuned leveling – Inflate gradually and stop exactly where you want (up to 7”).
-
Compact storage – Deflates flat and weighs just 2.2 lbs.
-
Heavy-duty strength – Supports up to 3,307 lbs per wheel.
-
Fast setup – Drive on. Inflate. Done.
If you care about sleeping flat, cooking comfortably, or keeping an absorption refrigerator happy, precise leveling makes a real difference.
Also Great for Vehicle Storage
If you store your van on concrete, Flat-Jacks can be used under the tires to help prevent flat-spotting and tire deformation.
How It Works
-
Place the Flat-Jack in front of your tire (aligned with the yellow tread marks).
-
Slowly roll your tire onto it.
-
Inflate using any pump or compressor with a standard Schrader valve.
-
Stop inflating when you reach your desired height.
No stacking. No backing up repeatedly. No cracked plastic.

Vanlife Outfitters Exclusive
We work directly with the manufacturer in Germany and are the exclusive North American seller of Flat-Jacks. There is a two-year manufacturer defects warranty.
But Why Is It So Expensive?
Flat-Jacks are manufactured in small batches in Germany using a durable Rhino-liner–like material. They cost more than plastic blocks — but they’re built to last for years, take up far less space, and are dramatically easier to use.
If you’ve invested heavily in your van and value comfort, reliability, and efficiency at camp, this is a leveling solution designed to match that investment.
Important Use Notes
-
Orientation matters – Only use the Flat-Jack with the wheel supported on the long side (follow the “yellow tread marks” printed on the Flat-Jack). Never inflate the Flat-Jack if it’s perpendicular to the wheel.
-
Do not exceed 22 PSI. We recommend stopping at 15–18 PSI to allow for temperature and pressure fluctuations. As a rule of thumb, stop inflating when you no longer see the Flat-Jack rising. In high temperatures, deflate slightly less than normal to prevent internal pressure from increasing.
-
Avoid sharp objects; consider using a protective mat underneath if needed.
-
Do not use on steep driveways or excessive slopes.
-
Never stack on top of other leveling devices.
-
Use caution when releasing air — the cap is under pressure.
-
Protect the Flat-Jack from extended UV exposure. If camped in direct sunlight, cover it with a white towel to reduce UV damage.

I’m happy to give a shout out to VanLife Outfitters. These folks are an incredible example of how a company should conduct business. Although I’m building a truck camper, I have bought several things from VanLife outfitters and their customer service is bar none . I would never hesitate recommending VanLife outfitters to anyone whether they are building a van camper or boat. And I might add even a tiny home. Everyone that I’ve talked to have been nothing but incredible. In particular, Jason in technical support was an incredible blessing to me. I had a problem with the Aqua Hot Gen 1 heater I bought from them. It was not the heater fault, but something I did. Jason helped bird-dog the solution and together we got it fixed. He stuck with me, did research, and called me back several times to make sure that the problem was resolved. These people know the business, many have their on rigs, which gives them the best experience. Thanks you Vanlife Outfitters!!!!

My husband and I are doing our first vanbuild. As rookies, we have found Vanlife Outfitters to be a trusted resource for ease of product shopping and purchasing, video demonstrations, guidance and excellent customer service. They were particularly a great one-stop shop when building our electrical system.

I ordered most of the parts for my sprinter conversion from them. They have absolutely the best customer service. I had issues with my fridge installation duing the weekend and eamiled their customer service for help. Both times, they emailed me back with the instructions/help I need on Sunday. Thank you and this is absolutely my go to place.
