Tetravan Flush Mounting (In-Floor) Shower Pan - Stainless Steel
Tetravan Flush Mounting (In-Floor) Shower Pan - Stainless Steel
SKU:TVU0213
In stock
The Tetravan In-Floor Shower Pan was designed to be installed into the surface of your camper van floor, out of the way but hidden in plain sight! It is a more straightforward alternative to the Tetravan Folding Shower.
The magnetic brushed stainless steel pan is designed to be recessed into the surface of your van’s floor - when installed, it should sit slightly over 1" below the floor surface. This is a great option for taller van dwellers as it maximizes headroom. A cross break in the bottom of the pan and recessed drain hole direct water in the pan to an included drain fitting.
A magnetic and zippered waterproof shower curtain is available which is sized to perfectly to match the shower pan. The curtain has 3/8" tall magnets sewn into the bottom edges to attach the curtain to the inside edges of the pan. A special water-tight zippered closure at the front makes getting in and out easy. The curtain widens to over 30 inches toward the top to maximize shoulder space. It is 71" tall and can be extended to your roof height by using 6" extenders like these. Both loops and grommets are sewn into the top to allow for adjustable mounting heights.
Includes:
- Tetravan in-floor shower pan
- 1-1/2" threaded straight drain
- (Optional) Tetravan Universal Shower Curtain - magnetic waterproof ripstop curtain, perfectly sized and designed to work with the Tetravan In-Floor Shower Pan (71" tall)
OPTIONS: The drain hole option is intended to provide you with options to avoid any factory crossmembers or fuel tanks under the vehicle. If you rotate the shower pan, you can locate the drains in any position you see fit for your build.
Important notes:
Your van needs to be level for this product to work. If you have a Dodge Promaster, which comes stock sloped downward in the front, you will need to install a leveling kit to use this product.
To install this product we recommend the use of both a purpose-appropriate adhesive on the underside of the flange and at least 1" long countersunk screws through the flange into the subfloor.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does an in-floor shower pan work?
The pan recesses flush into your van floor, sitting just over 1" below floor level — invisible underfoot until shower time. Attach the magnetic curtain to the pan edge, shower, then walk right over it the rest of the day. You lose zero headroom and zero floor space.
What are the dimensions and cutout requirements?
Overall 30" × 24" with a 28" × 22" recessed interior, 1.31" deep, 1" flange, and a 2.01" center drain opening. You need a minimum 1.3" of subfloor depth. Weight is 24.6 lb.
What is it made of?
Brushed 2205 duplex stainless steel — anti-corrosive and magnetic, so shower curtain magnets seal directly to the pan edge with no clips, tracks, or hardware.
Which shower curtain works with it?
The Tetravan Universal Shower Curtain: 3/8" magnets seal to the inside pan edges, zippered front entry, widens to 30"+ at shoulder height, and stands 71" tall. Six-inch extenders can take it to roof height.
Where can the drain go?
Center drain is standard, with a cross-break bottom that directs water to it. Additional drain positions are available if your build routes plumbing differently or you need to avoid crossmembers or the fuel tank. A 1-1/2" threaded straight drain fitting is included.
Does it work in a ProMaster?
Yes, with one caveat: ProMasters sit stock-sloped nose-down, so a leveling kit is required for proper drainage. Sprinters and Transits install without modification as long as the van is level.
How is it installed?
Cut the floor opening, apply adhesive to the underside of the flange, and secure with at least 1" countersunk screws through the flange into the subfloor. Route the drain to your grey tank.
In-floor pan vs. Folding Shower — which should I choose?
The In-Floor Pan is for builds with a dedicated shower spot: permanent, low-profile, full headroom. The Folding Shower is for builds where floor space is precious — it stows into 3.5" of wall depth. Many builders use the pan in the entryway and rely on the same water system for both.

I’m happy to give a shout out to VanLife Outfitters. These folks are an incredible example of how a company should conduct business. Although I’m building a truck camper, I have bought several things from VanLife outfitters and their customer service is bar none . I would never hesitate recommending VanLife outfitters to anyone whether they are building a van camper or boat. And I might add even a tiny home. Everyone that I’ve talked to have been nothing but incredible. In particular, Jason in technical support was an incredible blessing to me. I had a problem with the Aqua Hot Gen 1 heater I bought from them. It was not the heater fault, but something I did. Jason helped bird-dog the solution and together we got it fixed. He stuck with me, did research, and called me back several times to make sure that the problem was resolved. These people know the business, many have their on rigs, which gives them the best experience. Thanks you Vanlife Outfitters!!!!

My husband and I are doing our first vanbuild. As rookies, we have found Vanlife Outfitters to be a trusted resource for ease of product shopping and purchasing, video demonstrations, guidance and excellent customer service. They were particularly a great one-stop shop when building our electrical system.

I ordered most of the parts for my sprinter conversion from them. They have absolutely the best customer service. I had issues with my fridge installation duing the weekend and eamiled their customer service for help. Both times, they emailed me back with the instructions/help I need on Sunday. Thank you and this is absolutely my go to place.
