This super-efficient DC-powered rooftop air conditioner is designed from the ground up to maximize the comfort of your outdoor adventure. With the DC-powered twin-cylinder rotor compressor, Velit 2000R draws as low as 20A (at 12V) and is able to deliver fresh cool air to you at up to 126°F for an extended period of time without needing a giant inverter which is required for traditional RV ACs. It also has a slim profile with only 7” of clearance and can easily fit in the standard 14x14 rooftop cutouts.
Ideal for RVs, camper vans, trucks, and boats, this low-profile rooftop air conditioner offers quiet, energy-efficient cooling that runs directly on 12V, 24V, or 48V DC battery power. Perfect for off-grid living and solar-powered setups, the Velit 2000R is TÜV certified and uses eco-friendly refrigerant R32 to provide sustainable cooling performance.
This is a complete kit. For van installs or other uneven surfaces, you need to purchase the sealant separately. Sealant is not required for flat surface installs such as RV roofs.

I’m happy to give a shout out to VanLife Outfitters. These folks are an incredible example of how a company should conduct business. Although I’m building a truck camper, I have bought several things from VanLife outfitters and their customer service is bar none . I would never hesitate recommending VanLife outfitters to anyone whether they are building a van camper or boat. And I might add even a tiny home. Everyone that I’ve talked to have been nothing but incredible. In particular, Jason in technical support was an incredible blessing to me. I had a problem with the Aqua Hot Gen 1 heater I bought from them. It was not the heater fault, but something I did. Jason helped bird-dog the solution and together we got it fixed. He stuck with me, did research, and called me back several times to make sure that the problem was resolved.
