- Capable of charging a 12-volt battery bank up to 50 amps. Multiple units can be wired in parallel in a system for increased charging capability (100 amps, etc.). However, the general guidance is to limit DC-DC charging from a vehicle factory alternator to less than 50% of its rated capacity.

Now supports an emergency reverse charge function that allows you to manually enable a 15 minute reverse direction charge using your lithium house battery bank to recover a starter battery that is too flat to crank your engine.
- The charge current is adjustable with a minimum step size of 0.1A. Configurable with VictronConnect.

Migrate from Isolated DC-DC Chargers to Non-Isolated
Some of our customers may be migrating from an "isolated" DC-DC charger such as the Orion 12/12/30 Isolated DC-DC charger from Victron where there would have been both a negative and positive wire ran from the vehicle battery/connection point to the DC-DC charger. We primarily sell the "non-isolated" version of the Orions DC-DC chargers. The non-isolated version is a little easier to install since you only need to run a DC+ cable from the vehicle battery to the Orion DC-DC charger and the ground uses the chassis which is connected to your house power system negative bus bar through the chassis ground on the Lynx Distributor in our example wiring diagram.

I’m happy to give a shout out to VanLife Outfitters. These folks are an incredible example of how a company should conduct business. Although I’m building a truck camper, I have bought several things from VanLife outfitters and their customer service is bar none . I would never hesitate recommending VanLife outfitters to anyone whether they are building a van camper or boat. And I might add even a tiny home. Everyone that I’ve talked to have been nothing but incredible. In particular, Jason in technical support was an incredible blessing to me. I had a problem with the Aqua Hot Gen 1 heater I bought from them. It was not the heater fault, but something I did. Jason helped bird-dog the solution and together we got it fixed. He stuck with me, did research, and called me back several times to make sure that the problem was resolved.
