Your Dream Van

Our vans are both beautiful and functional. The Miles Van Camper floor plan was developed after years of camping in vans and imagining the possibilities  Everything “just works” so you can focus on your travels and adventures. All the comforts of a home on wheels squeezed into a van that is only 20 feet long and fits into standard sized parking spaces. You bring us a 159″, high roof Promaster and we’ll build it to the highest standards.

The Baseline, Miles Van Camper Floor Plan

Starts At $48,500 and Includes:

Design

  • Spacious, open floor plan with a clean, modern design.
  • Full-size fixed bed in the rear with memory foam mattress.  No need to make and dismantle the bed every day or store your pillows and bedding – just crawl into your comfy bed at the end of a day of adventure.
  • Two living spaces. Driver and passenger cab seats swivel around and can be used with the tabletop to create a living space up front. In the rear there is a semi-private bed/loft area.
  • Private wet bath with shower and cassette toilet.
  • Engine coolant heated hot water system (with 120 volt AC electric element backup) provides hot water using heat from your van engine after just a few minutes of driving or idling.
  • Tons of storage without compromising airy feel.
  • Large rear storage bin for flexible gear storage.
  • High-quality, durable and attractive marine vinyl flooring.
  • Extensive LED lighting with dimmers.
  • CR Laurence t-vent window in slider door.

Galley Kitchen

  • Full galley with 8x full-size (24″ deep) soft-close drawers and 1x large door with shelves – all secured with latches.
  • Galley sink with hot and cold running water and either built-in or stowed away induction cooktop.
  • Large (5.3 cubic feet), high-efficiency electric refrigerator/freezer in a a tall cabinet behind the galley. Optional microwave upgrade available for space above the refrigerator.
  • Elegant and durable brushed aluminum backsplash.
  • Integrated paper towel dispenser, trash and recycling bins and intelligent storage.
  • Flexible table system with stainless steel finish on a Lagun table mount. Table stores above the galley counter and quickly slides away for extra work space when preparing meals or as a tabletop for working or eating.

Utilities

  • 33 gallon fresh water tank with gravity drain underneath driver’s side bumper. Water heater tank adds another 5.3 gallons for a total of 38 gallons on board.
  • 30 grey holding tank with standard 3″ connection – mounted underneath passenger side sliding door.
  • Lockable fresh water fill and city water inlet on drivers side.
  • Fresh water tank and all plumbing installed inside the vehicle to protect from damage and freezing for all-season camping.
  • SeeLevel 2 tank monitor provides easy-to-read tank capacity information for fresh water, grey water and, optional propane tank. Monitor panel also includes a switch for turning the water pump on/off.

Electrical

  • 2x 100 amp hour lithium batteries for a total of 200 amp hours of capacity.
  • 2x 100 watt solar panels on the roof with a 30 amp MPPT solar controller.
  • 2000 watt pure sine wave inverter/charger that automatically switches 120 volt AC loads from inverter to shore power when available with remote control panel and charges the batteries when connected to shore power.
  • 30 amp shore power inlet with 30amp to 15amp adapter when 30 amp service is not available.
  • Three distinct charging methods to keep the batteries charged up: 1) from vehicle alternator when driving with a DC-DC charger, 2) from the inverter/charger when connected to shore power and 3) from the solar panels during daylight hours.
  • Victron battery monitor shows state of charge, voltage, charge/discharge rate in amps and watts and estimated battery life in hours.
  • Ample 110 volt AC, 12 volt DC and USB charging connections in various places throughout the living space to power everything you need.

Comfort / Safety / Convenience

  • 10-speed Maxxfan vent fan above the bed loft area that can pull air into the living space or exhaust air out and features an rain hood so you can operate the fan in any weather, remote control and adjustable thermostatic control.
  • Fixed full bed in loft area with luxurious 6″ memory foam mattress.
  • Isotemp SPA 20L marine-style, 5.3 gallon water heater that heats water while you drive with the engine’s coolant or with an electric element when not driving.
  • Thetford “cassette-style” toilet in wet bath provides odor free convenience without the need for a black water tank. Cassette empties easily into a standard toilet, campsite sewer connection, etc.
  • Extensive noise dampening (Noico) and thermal insulation (3M Thinsulate) for quiet ride and to keep the van cool or warm in any climate.

Optional Upgrades

UPGRADE PRICE DETAILS
Propex propane furnace $1,575 Requires propane tank upgrade. Installed in front of the galley.
Webasto gasoline heater $1,900 Webasto Air Top 2000 STC connected to the van’s gasoline fuel tank.
Rooftop air conditioner $1,850 Coleman Mach 8 Cub, low-profile, 9200 BTU rooftop air conditioner. Consumes approximately 11.5 amp (110 volt, AC) so it can easily run on a 15 amp shore power connection and can be run with the batteries/inverter when off grid for short periods of time.
Upgraded solar system $850 Doubles solar panel inputs from 200 watts to 400 watts.
Additional battery storage $2,500 Increases battery storage from 200 amp hours of lithium battery to 400 amp hours.
SMEV sink/propane cooktop combo (replaces induction cooktop) $625 Would replace the induction cooktop. Requires propane tank upgrade.
Microwave $725 Stainless steel built-in microwave installed above refrigerator.
Upper cabinets above galley $1,800 2x, 24″ wide upper cabinets with latches and lift hinges.
Rear drawers underneath bed $1,500 3x soft-close drawers with latches in the “garage” space accessed from the rear doors.
Awning $1,800 Fiamma F65 manual awning on the passenger side.
Security system with remote start $900 Add a wired security system with the ability to start the van from it’s remote.
Insect screen door for slider $700 Opens and closes with a strong magnet and can be zipped up out of the way.
Grey tank heater $250 12 volt heater pad installed onto the bottom of the grey tank to keep it from freezing in cold weather.
UPGRADE PRICE DETAILS
Additional Maxxfan $650 Installed below the cab near the galley. This is not available with the air conditioner option since they share the same location.
Cell signal booster $850 Uses external antenna to boost cellular signals for voice and data.
Outdoor shower kit $400 Can be installed on either the passenger side behind sliding door or in cabinetry accessed from the rear doors.
Nature’s Head composting toilet  $1750 Would replace Thetford cassette toilet in wet bath. Note, this unit is larger than the cassette toilet.
Bluetooth battery monitoring $300 Add bluetooth capability to Victron battery monitor. Allows you to track all the information available from the battery monitor using the Victron iOS or Android app.
Water filter $250 Adds a water filter for drinking water with tap at sink.
Propane system $1,450 Adds a 4.3 gallon capacity propane tank mounted under the van (in front of the rear axle). Includes remote fill kit, monitoring of the tank fill level on the monitoring system and all required fittings.
Class 3 hitch $550 Adds Curt class 3 hitch with 4-pin wiring for trailer lights.
Bedliner exterior paint $4,500 Upgrade your van’s exterior with this tough finish. Your choice of colors.
Driver side window $1,200 Add a factor-look CR Laurence window to the driver side opposite the slider door.
Rear cargo door window $800 Add a Motion Window window to the rear cargo door (per window, $1,600 for two windows).
All price estimates are subject to change due to increases in our material costs and vendor rates. Conversion estimates, including upgrades, do not include the purchase price of the vehicle.
Provided vehicle must be a 2014 (or newer) RAM Promaster, 159″ wheel base (non-extended), high roof model. Sales tax is not included in these prices and are based on your home state. Sales tax in Florida is 7%.Pricing is subject to change and was last updated and effective September 2020.
