Description
The compressor refrigerators in the CoolMatic CRX series are ingenious quick-change artists. Their trick is no secret, but a patented Dometic invention. Unique to the CRX series, the speed-controlled compressor runs at mid-speed when starting up, switches to high speed for temperature pull-down, then runs at low speed while maintaining the set point. The result is a quieter unit that runs more efficiently. The tube-and-fin condenser provides greater performance, durability, and corrosion resistance over the traditional static condenser. The large fan provides better cooling performance, especially in high ambient temperatures.
The desired temperature is set on the soft touch control panel which is mounted flush in the inner wall and elegantly integrates the LED light. There’s smart electronics behind it: the system regulates the compressor speed therefore achieving energy savings of up to 25 %. Small or medium-sized motorhome or boat, single person or big family – nobody has to go without a Dometic CoolMatic refrigerator.
Note: You just cannot remove the entire freezer unit in the 110 and 140, like you can on smaller models, however you can remove the front flap of the freezer on the larger units to make it a 3 in 1. There for this unit could be used as all freezer or all refrigerator.
