The two drawers can be used in three ways 1) both as a refrigerator, 2) both as a freezer or 3) top drawer as a refrigerator and the bottom drawer as a freezer. This is accomplished by having two independent compressors. The drawers make organization much easier and much more convenient to reach the items in the “back” of the drawers!
