If you'd like to add current/watt monitoring to the Wakespeed regulator, including being able to monitor these values on the Cerbo GX, you'll want to add this current shunt to your bundle. We strongly recommend this upgrade.

This kit includes one temperature sensor, used for monitoring the alternator temperature. A second sensor for battery temp monitoring is optional, and is recommended if you don't have CAN enabled communications from your battery bank that can supply battery temps to your Wakespeed, commonly through a CerboGX. There is a mating connector on the Wakespeed harness for both the alternator and battery temperature.

If you have a Victron GX device such as a Cerbo GX and you want to see the Wakespeed on the GX device, this RJ45 crossover cable can be used between the WS500 regulator and Cerbo GX and includes a black, data terminator for the other CAN port on the WS500.

We only support the battery brands/makes listed below so that we can fully support your installation if needed and to ensure the highest performance and safety. Only batteries with CAN communication between the battery and the Wakespeed can be used. Any drop-in lithium/legacy internal BMS batteries without communication are not approved and will not be warrantied.
